Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key tasks:
- Providing direct patient care, including rooming providers and preparing patients for exams and procedures
- Assisting with injections, immunizations, and blood draws under the supervision of licensed medical professionals
- Managing clinical and administrative tasks, including updating patient records and handling phone calls and correspondence
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably with electronic medical records (EMRs)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
