What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Supervisor-Production (plastic injection molding) - 4 days a week position at Pioneer Plastics Inc?
This is a "hands on" role for someone experienced with the injection mold process. Need to be able to trouble shoot presses
General Responsibilities include:
Assist with managing press start-ups
Trouble shoot problems with presses
Maintain data records and training in Epicor.
Assist with product flow and quality checks
Work closely with production planning to establish production schedules to ensure on-time delivery to the customer.
Ability and willingness to learn other positions to be "backup" during vacancies or vacations

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Minimum 2 years hands on experience working in the plastic injection molding industry. Knows the injection molding process
Requires resourcefulness, ability to trouble shoot presses and a willingness to learn and adhere to our company policies, practices, and procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
