Position: Lease Operator / Production Operator / Well Tender
Schedule: 7/7 - 84 hours per week
2 years of oil field production position is strongly preferred.
Pay is determined by experience relevant to the open position.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Well Tender to join our team in the oil and gas industry. As a Well Tender, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to well operations, maintenance, and safety.
- Perform daily operational checks of assigned wells and production facilities.
- Conduct production tests using established procedures, perform repairs on surface production and injection equipment and operate production and injection equipment.
- Prepare, maintain, and submit daily reports and records of daily gas and liquid volume, well pressure, volume of chemicals used.
- Accountable for safe working practices
- Operating, optimizing and routine maintenance of oil and gas wells, gas gathering facility, dehydration system, compressors, GPU’s, separation systems, burners, VRU’s etc.
- Experience with SCADA and or other trending and computer-based software
- Candidate must be mechanically inclined
- Regulatory and compliance checks and inspections
- Gas compression and Dehydration system operation experience
- Possess computer skills in Microsoft Office
- Candidate MUST have a clean driving record to be considered for an opportunity
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
