Position Compression Station Mechanic
Schedule: Monday - Friday with rotating on call nights and weekends.
Pay is determined upon relevant work experience.
Position Summary:
Perform preventative maintenance, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain natural gas compression equipment, electrical equipment and gas turbine engine equipment in a compression station and field locations.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Troubleshooting, testing, and repairing station equipment
· Repair and troubleshoot field equipment
· Work safely with rotating equipment, extreme pressures, and temperatures.
· Follow company safety policies.
· Safely and efficiently set units and perform start-up procedures as well as assist in the disassembly and removal of units
Qualifications
· Senior level knowledge of Natural gas compression packages, Natural gas compression station operations, Gas Turbine Engines and all Electrical components.
· Advanced knowledge of mathematical applications
· Advanced knowledge and experience with internal combustion engines
· Advanced computer skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $48.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
