Position Title: Electrician
Location: Malvern, OH
Overview:
The Oilfield Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, primarily focusing on 480-volt, 3-phase systems used in oilfield operations. This role involves troubleshooting electrical issues, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining reliable power for equipment across both remote sites and permanent facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install & Maintain 480V Systems: Handle 480-volt electrical systems, including transformers, control panels, motors, and generators.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues within 480V circuits and related components using diagnostic tools.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance to ensure systems run efficiently and safely.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to safety procedures and ensure all work complies with industry standards (NEC, OSHA).
- Documentation: Maintain precise records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience as an electrician, focusing on 480V electrical systems.
- Certifications: Journeyman electrician license or equivalent required; OSHA or other safety certifications are a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency with 480V systems, troubleshooting, and reading electrical schematics.
- Physical: Capability to work in challenging outdoor conditions and lift heavy equipment as needed.
