What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural Steel Ironworkers position at Pioneer Steel Inc.?
DUTIES: Connect columns, beams, and girders with bolts, following blueprints and instructions from supervisors.
Bolt aligned structural steel members in position for permanent riveting, bolting, or welding into place.
Fasten structural steel members to hoist cables, using chains, cables, or rope.
Hoist steel beams, girders, or columns into place, using cranes or signaling hoisting equipment operators to lift and position structural steel members.
Will be doing layout, bolt up, and connect structural iron welding, lifting up to 50 pounds, and other duties as necessary.
SKILLS REQUIRED: 6 months minimum experience. Experience preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must be 18 due to OSHA and child labor laws. Pass a background check and drug test.
SHIFTS: Full time permanent position, 40 to 48 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8 to 10 hour shifts, between 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
