Essential Job Functions
- Design/Code/Test various software applications using Python, HTML/JavaScript/AJAX and other programming languages.
- Write and maintain scripts to manage server software, as well as maintains and updates servers.
- Update code and manage it using the git versioning system
- Willingly and cooperatively performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Completed one year in a relevant full-time Career Tech Program or entering or completing Junior or Senior year of college majoring in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Management, or related field.
- Knowledge of computer operating systems, software, hardware, and peripheral equipment.
- Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and Python.
- Knowledge of MySQL or MariaDB
- Ability to design, test, code and maintain extensive computer programs.
- Ability to write, debug, fix and/or update programs quickly and effectively.
- Proficient in operating a personal computer and software applications pertaining to job function.
- Good verbal, written and listening communication skills.
- Skill in prioritizing, completing multiple projects, identifying problems, and finding resolutions.
- Ability to read and interpret various formats of English language instruction.
- Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines, perform under stress and achieve optimum results.
