NATURE OF POSITION
The Escrow Assistant is responsible for intake and monitoring of new client files, acting as a central point of contact between closing agent, client, and teammates for files. The assistant will perform a host of duties regarding file interaction to ensure time frames and process requirements are being met via our technology platform.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
General direction and oversight is provided by the Department or Site Manager

· Perform data entry and data auditing of all new files
· Retrieve information and communicate by means of telephone, e-mail, fax to customers responding to information requests within a timely fashion
· Package and distribute documents and files
· Perform any additional responsibilities as requested, assigned or needed
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
· Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work within a team under minimal supervision
· Strong analytical skills
· Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to maintain detailed records
· Understanding of the key touch points of a residential transaction
· Strong knowledge and ability in the use of a personal computer and software applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
· Familiar with industry systems and software; ResWare experience a plus
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to multi-task, and effectively work under stressful conditions
· Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgement and to react with discretion under varying conditions
· Ability to establish and maintain effective and appropriate relationships within various levels of the organization
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED
Operate a variety of office equipment including personal computers, programs, telephones, copiers, printers, scanners and calculators. Utilize standard and customized software.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum 1 years of experience, with working knowledge of ResWare preferred.
An offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
