Description:
Pioneer Trust Bank, N.A. is seeking a professional, personable, and self-motivated individual for a part-time Trust File Clerk. The Trust File Clerk is responsible for all the central filing for the Trust Department and for making Bank deliveries.
Pioneer Trust Bank, N.A. regards all customer, client, and employee records as strictly confidential and obtain, use, or share such information only as authorized and necessary.
Duties Include:
- Deliver trust client checks for deposit at other local banks
- File trust file folders in a central filing area, maintain filing area in an orderly state
- File trust documents, correspondence, client bills, tax and medical benefit information in their appropriate files located throughout the Bank.
- Assist Trust Department personnel with clerical projects and delivery of documents as requested
- File documents and correspondence for closed accounts in storage areas located throughout the Bank
- Transfer closed account files from the upstairs transfer filing area to the basement storage area annually
- Destroy closed trust account files, bills, and tax returns as instructed
- Assist with mailing of trust statements as needed
- Special projects as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent preferred
- A vehicle is required for deliveries located outside of the downtown Salem area. Proof of a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance is required. Mileage will be reimbursed at the standard Federal mileage rate as posted by the Internal Revenue Service

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to file numerically and alphabetically

- Ability to reach, squat, bend and manually manipulate standard office equipment
- Ability to clearly speak, hear, see, and communicate with customers and co-workers of all levels
