We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Social Services to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a positive impact on individuals' lives through effective social service programs and initiatives.
*Responsibilities*
- Oversee all aspects of the social services department, including program development, implementation, and evaluation
- Manage a team of social workers and support staff, providing guidance, supervision, and training as needed
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders to enhance service delivery
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards in all social service activities
- Create and manage budgets for social service programs effectively
- Provide direct social work services to clients when necessary
*Requirements*
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or related field LCSW or LICSW Required
- Proven experience in behavioral health, program management, and working with people with developmental disabilities
- Strong background in budgeting, program development, and administrative tasks
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
- Exceptional communication and relationship management abilities
