We are looking for a Project Manager to drive the successful execution of capital equipment projects from concept through completion. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring seamless project delivery that meets quality and performance standards. You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to ensure projects are executed efficiently, on schedule, and within scope.

- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining objectives, scope, milestones, and resource allocation
- Apply critical thinking to problem-solving, risk assessment, and decision-making within a multidisciplinary team
- Track project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and implement solutions to keep projects on schedule
- Manage budgets, monitor costs, and implement cost-saving measures without sacrificing quality
- Oversee vendor contracts and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure project efficiency
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and proactively adjust project plans to minimize disruptions
- Act as a primary liaison between engineering teams, leadership, and external stakeholders
- Provide consistent project updates, ensuring transparency and alignment across all parties
- Optimize resource allocation based on project needs, skill sets, and workload distribution
- Drive collaboration across engineering, design, fabrication, and assembly teams to ensure smooth execution
- Mentor team members, fostering skill development and knowledge-sharing
- Enforce adherence to engineering standards, best practices, and quality control protocols
- Conduct inspections and audits to verify compliance and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including specifications, reports, and design files
- Assist sales and manufacturing teams with technical insights as needed
- Stay up to date on industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines
Here’s what you’ll need to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
- 5 years of experience managing complex engineering projects, preferably in capital equipment manufacturing
- A combination of education and 10 years of related experience will also be considered
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office 365, ERP systems, and project management software
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and make data-driven decisions
- Familiarity with engineering principles and manufacturing processes
- Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
