What are the responsibilities and job description for the Criminal Defense Attorney position at Piotrowski Law?
Company Description
Piotrowski Law is a law firm headquartered in Miami, Florida with offices throughout South Florida. The firm handles many areas of criminal law.
Our firm was built on the understanding that comprehensive representation does not begin and end in the courtroom. We know that just having sound legal counsel does not translate to a comprehensive and satisfactory experience for a client. We want our clients to be satisfied with their choice of firm, not just in their choice of attorney. Our client service and support staff are dedicated to making the experience of retaining an attorney as smooth as possible and ensuring that no client ever has a question or concern that goes unanswered. It doesn’t matter how good an attorney is if they don’t pay close attention to the wants and needs of the client. We want to make sure that each of our clients is as happy with the experience they have with our firm as they are with the ultimate result in his or her case.
Job Summary
Piotrowski Law is seeking an additional full-time Associate Criminal Lawyer to join its team at their Miami Office. This position provides for both in office and remote work in a hybrid model based on your professional sensibility and the needs of the clients. This is a perfect opportunity to join a firm with an established team of passionate individuals that are committed to upholding high standards of representation and customer service.
Firm Culture

These Are
Reach for Excellence Everyday: If the result will only be “okay,” we look for a better option, and pivot quickly, as to not waste precious time. We give our best effort every time because every client and coworker deserve our best effort. And no firm can do it better than we can.
United We Succeed: We look for our common bonds no matter what in the world might otherwise divide. We are not just shaping a law firm; we are building a law firm that has the power to help shape how people are viewed and treated in the world. All team member opinions are needed, welcome and treated as equal.
Always Speak Your Truth: To be successful, we must be independent thinkers — so independent that when passionate about something, we’re willing to bet against the consensus. To accomplish that, we put our honest thoughts on the table, be radically open-minded, allowing the best ideas to rise to the top.
Negativity is Unacceptable: Positive words and actions manifest the same. We speak well of our team members, our clients, our opponents, as well as our competition, and always treat all with the respect that is due.
Education is CriticalComplacency is the greatest foe of greatness. We demand of each other to continue learning. We set ourselves apart in the law by embracing what we still do not know and rooting for one another to keep discovering more.
Qualifications And Skills
A lawyer in our firm must understand that some days are not 9 to 5, and be motivated to be the best lawyer they can be. While we understand that trial work can be taxing, we are able to thrive in those situations because we balance that with a healthy personal experience and downtime when schedules allow. Our attorneys know we trust them to do their work, but we also expect great work. If you are the type of person who loves to think through a complicated legal issue and come up with a unique solution, we might be the right office for you. If you don't care for spirited discussion about evidentiary issues or trial strategy, we might not be the right place, because in the end, we love the law and seek to make our clients lives better by using it to their advantage.
