Job Functions, Responsibilities & Authorities

• Supervising the Production of Polyurethane Section.
• Providing the polyurethane formulation experience to the Team
• Maintain the Raw Material Stock for Three months Production.
• Working directly with TM/Production team to develop existing PU quality
• Developing a deep understanding of the functional attributes of a wide range of polyurethane materials relevant to Company Industries.
• Applying knowledge of polyurethane structure property relationships to new and existing  products.
• Translating the fundamental knowledge of Company’s technology benefits to the   development of new products and the identification of new market spaces.
• Testing completed tools, dies, jigs or fixtures to ensure proper operation
• Setting up and operates various casting machines to cast polyurethane products
• Position, secure, measure, and work polyurethane stock or castings to lay out for machining.
• Lay outs, shapes and assembles patterns of plastic and other materials from blueprints, models or templates
• To execute all other tasks as requested by TM/Production Director or by the immediate Supervisor within the assigned job role.
• Competency Requirements

• Bachelor of Chemical Engineering.
• 5 years’ experience with polyurethane formulation / product development
• Familiarity with laboratory techniques such as structural characterization and analytical techniques.
• Fluency in the English language, working knowledge of other languages is a plus

• Ensure delivery date for PU parts as per Tool Preparation Plan.
• Ensure no changes in Material plan during the quarter every three months.
• Ensure no last minute Material requests (raw material or Machine spare parts).
• Ensure Maintenance plan for PU casting machine, PU oven, Drilling Machine is executed on Time based on Maintenance plan; record to be available upon request. 
• Ensure the availability of raw material, machine consumable on monthly basis; follow up with procurement dept. to keep the chemical raw material in our store based on store capacity. 
• Ensure spare parts for PU machine is always available at our store. 
• Produce high quality PU items, the finishing of final product must be perfect and shining. 
• Ensure all Machines and equipment used by PU section are calibrated and Certified by Third Party.
• Improve the PU quality by keep searching for best chemical raw material, find proper additive to reduce the Abrasion loss.
• Deliver the PU items related to internal projects as per internal project plan

Physical and Mental Requirements:

• Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
• Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
• Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
• Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
• Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.

Inspection Technologies

Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL): Detects and sizes general corrosion and metal loss anomalies, especially circumferentially oriented.

Transverse Field Inspection (TFI): Detects and sizes general corrosion and metal loss anomalies, primarily axially oriented.

Ultrasound (UT): Detects and sizes general and other metal loss anomalies with high depth sizing accuracy.
