Description

Position : Measurement Technician

Reports To : Superintendent

Summary : As a Measurement Technician, you will be a key player in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and optimization of our measurement systems. Your role will involve overseeing the calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a variety of sophisticated measurement instruments critical to our manufacturing processes. Through your expertise, you will contribute to the efficiency, safety, and compliance of our operations.

Essential Qualifications, Duties, and Responsibilities : (Other duties may be assigned)

• Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record & TWIC card.

Preferred driver's license with the operating capacity Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 10,001-26,001 pounds.

Louisiana : Class D Chauffer's License)

The measurement facilities include, but are not limited to, flow transmitters, positive displacement meters, turbine meters, rotary meters, ultrasonic, and orifice meters, flow computers, samplers, communication devices, regulators, relief valves, valves and valve actuators, transmitters, gas quality monitoring, and automated tank gauging equipment.

Shift / Schedule : 9 / 80 schedule-weekends, nights, and callouts possible - (9 / 80, or 80 hours of work in nine days with Fridays off every other week)

Work Environment : While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet or humid conditions; work near moving mechanical parts; work in high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles and outdoor weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of radiation and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical Demands : The employee must regularly lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Measurement Technicians must be willing to comply with PCM Health, Safety, and Environmental rules and regulations. They must also comply with all governmental regulations.
