Primary Job Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Assist line and staff management to understand OSHA and EPA regulations and standards, including guidance on handling compliance, inspections, and citations.
- Ensure compliance with CERCLA, OSHA, RCRA, EPA, Title V, Storm Water, and other environmental and safety regulations.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of emergency preparedness action plans.
- Develop an ergonomics implementation program to reduce the number of work-related injuries from repetitive motion.
- Manage the Hazard Communication requirements and maintain updated files for material safety sheets.
- Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices and develop hazard control practices and programs in conjunction with the line organizations.
- Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with all environmental and safety regulations.
- Conducted facility inspections and work with onsite management to resolve findings.
- Work with outside sources to ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations.
- Assess new development in the health and safety field which may have application to the company's operations.
- Work with insurance carrier during facility inspections.
- Conduct annual health monitoring for company in accordance with OSHA hearing conservation program.
- Develop, manage and maintain monthly safety training for all site employees.
- Monitor compliance with safety procedures.
- Investigate accidents to find the root cause and recommendations for implementing corrective measures.

Educational Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in environmental engineering, safety, or related working experience.
- CSP certification
- 3 to 5 years professional experience in safety and compliance.
