Job Description
The Sales Coordinator serves as a vital link between client sales, project estimation, and project management. Key responsibilities include:
- Working with ConstructConnect to coordinate and create takeoffs for projects.
- Reviewing project documents, plans, and specifications in ConstructConnect to identify specification requirements.
- Collaborating with the sales team to prioritize and manage leads, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Collaborating with the engineering and sales team to determine the feasibility of the lead.
- Maintaining and updating the CRM with customer interactions and project status.
- Developing and presenting proposals, bids, and quotes to the sales team, highlighting scope, pricing, and timelines.
- Acting as a liaison between clients, sales, project management, and production teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project requirements.
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to refine pricing and service strategies.
Certification in project management (PMP, CAPM) or estimation (AACE, CCE) is a plus. Other key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and processing sales orders, quotes, and invoices.
- Monitoring project timelines and coordinating schedules to meet client deadlines and company standards.
- Supporting the sales team in preparing presentations, reports, and documentation for client meetings.
- Collaborating with sales representatives to track sales leads and follow up with potential clients.
- Monitoring stock levels and communicating availability to the sales team and customers.
- Assisting in organizing promotional events and campaigns, including logistics and material preparation.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements
This position requires:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Good organizational skills – must have the ability to determine priorities, manage time properly, and multi-task.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills.
- 4 years' experience in a sales-related role.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Self-starter.
