Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an experienced Cyber/ACAS Engineer enhance the security and reliability of enterprise computer systems. This is a long term program, funded through 2031, and can be located in Reston, VA, College Park, MD, or Joint Base Anacostia Bolling.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement network cyber defense solutions.
- Identify and mitigate advanced cyber threats.
- Lead or collaborate within small teams.
- Guide and mentor junior staff.
- Utilize and configure various cyber defense tools and technologies.
- Must have an active TS/SCI clearance, and be willing to obtain a CI Polygraph before starting
- 4 years of experience with DoD Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux server management.
- Experience with STIGs, SCAP, and cybersecurity best practices.
- HS diploma/GED with 7 years of experience, Associate’s degree with 5 years, Bachelor’s degree with 3 years, or Master’s degree with 1 year.
- DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II Certification.
- Ability to obtain additional certifications within 30 days of hire.
- Experience with tools like Gigamon, Ansible, Encase, Fidelis, Suricata, Varonis, or VMWare.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of big data analytics, AI, and Zero-Trust Architecture.
- Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, and IT Service Management.
- Scripting skills in PowerShell, BASH, Python, or Perl.
- Consulting or client-facing experience.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- $105,000-110,000 annual salary (depending on experience)
