What are the responsibilities and job description for the AV Field Engineer position at Piper Companies?
Piper Companies is looking for an AV Field Engineer to join a commercial and federal systems integrator. This is a full - time position and fully onsite in the DC, Maryland, Virginia area at client sites. Up to 30% out of state travel could be expected as well.
Essential Duties of the AV Field Engineer :
- Configuring, deploying, and completing all commissioning tasks required for acceptance walkthrough, training, and signoff of the AV system.
- Test full system functionality.
- Perform site inspection for installation quality.
- Run through system operation and trouble shoot issues.
- Work with project foreman to address any installation issues during commissioning.
- Perform on-site end user training for all systems
