Clean Utilities Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Clean Utilities Engineer to join a growing leader in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology space for an onsite position in Holly Springs, North Carolina (NC). The Clean Utilities Engineer will ideally have hands-on experience in commissioning large-scale clean utilities systems, including purified water, process gases, and clean air. This role is critical to ensuring our clean utilities systems meet regulatory requirements and operate efficiently.

Responsibilities of the Clean Utilities Engineer include:

• Take responsibility for specific elements of commissioning and qualifying clean utilities systems.
• Perform hydrostatic testing, line flushing, and operational check-outs.
• Assist in creating and implementing Operational Qualification protocols.
• Prepare detailed documentation and report qualification outcomes to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and operations teams to troubleshoot issues and enhance system efficiency.
• Deliver training sessions and offer guidance to staff on clean utilities systems and best practices.
  
  

Qualifications for the Clean Utilities Engineer include:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commissioning and qualification of clean utilities systems in the biopharma industry.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards for clean utilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  
  

Compensation for the Clean Utilities Engineer:

• Salary Range: $70-$80/hour (USD)
