Cyber Security Specialist

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Mid Cyber Security Specialist to join a DoD program supporting the Department of the Navy located in New Orleans, LA. The Mid Cyber Security Specialist will assist with risk assessment activities, vulnerability scanning, and Remedy ticket responses.

MUST HAVE COMPTIA SECURITY CERTIFICATION AND ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE

Responsibilities for the Mid Cyber Security Specialist include:

• Support analysis of HBSS and ACAS scans
• Utilize Remedy tools to provide end-user support, and monitor security measures for all systems and networks
• Perform general Information Security duties including operation of HBSS, firewalls, IPS, IDS, VPNs, etc.
• Assist with defensive cyber operation duties utilizing HBSS and SIEM
  
  

Required Qualifications for the Mid Cyber Security Specialist include:

• Must have an Active Secret Clearance
• 3 Years of IT experience with a focus on Cyber Security (Can be professional and personal experience)
• Experience with ACAS and HBSS preferred
• IAT II Certification
  
  

Compensation for the Mid Cyber Security Specialist include:

• Salary Range: $55,000-60,000 **depending on experience**
