Piper Enterprise Solutions is seeking a Cyber Security Support Engineer to join an incredibly talented cyber security company located in Dayton, OH. This is a hybrid role consisting of 2 days onsite per week.
Responsibilities for the Cyber Security Support Engineer :
- Design, integrate, and maintain cybersecurity infrastructure to support secure network operations and system defense.
- Implement and manage vulnerability solutions, including DoD-directed requirements and defense-in-depth strategies (e.g., IDS / IPS, firewalls, STIG compliance).
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to define engineering requirements and ensure alignment with security objectives.
- Manage systems backups and maintenance schedules to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
- Lead the design and operation of cybersecurity defense strategies, ensuring secure authentication, monitoring, and virtual hosting services.
