Database Engineer - Power BI

Piper Enterprise Solutions is seeking a Hybrid Database Engineer - Power BI to join an innovative and impactful company located in Reston, VA.

Responsibilities of the Database Engineer - Power BI:

• Lead migration of on-premises data systems to cloud-based platforms.
• Gather requirements and deliver Power BI solutions that meet the business' needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues to minimize downtime.
• Implement Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to prepare data for analysis.
• Create interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI tools.
  
  

Qualifications of the Database Engineer - Power BI:

• 8 years of professional experience in database engineering, data architecture, or a similar role.
• Proficient in power BI, including dashboards, reports, visualizations, etc.
• Experience in on-premises to cloud migrations.
• Understanding of data lake frameworks and ETL/ELT processes.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
  
  

Compensation of the Database Engineer - Power BI:

• Salary range: $140,000-$160,000
