Piper Companies is looking for anexperienced EDVT Engineer to work onsite in San Jose, CA Monday through Friday . The ideal EDVT Engineer will have practical experience in validation testing, both mechanical and electrical, with a strong background in hardware networking equipment. This role involves extensive EDVT testing and occasional travel to customer sites to validate their issues.
Responsibilities for the EDVT Engineer :
- Develop and execute validation test plans for hardware products.
- Perform EDVT and DVT testing on mechanical and electrical components.
- Utilize traffic generators and environmental chambers for testing.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to identify and resolve issues.
- Conduct system tests and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Travel to customer sites as needed (up to 25% of the time) to validate and resolve issues.
- Maintain detailed documentation of test procedures and results.
