Infrastructure Architect

Piper Companies is seeking an Infrastructure Architect for a global leader in audio technology. This role is hybrid, and will require you to be on site in Atlanta, Georgia. The Infrastructure Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud architecture solutions.

Responsibilities of the Infrastructure Architect include:

• Proven experience designing, deploying, and managing enterprise Active Directory environments.
• Expertise in Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management (IAM), including Azure AD, ADFS, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting for automation in AD and Office 365.
• Familiarity with security protocols, compliance frameworks, and hybrid environments integrating on-premises and cloud solutions.
  
  

Qualifications of the Infrastructure Architect include:

• Strong understanding of Active Directory infrastructure, including replication, ADFS, Group Policy, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Office 365 architecture and administration, focusing on scalability and security.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, firewalls, and DNS as they relate to AD and Office 365.
• Experience with hybrid cloud integrations involving on-prem AD and Azure AD.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex AD and Office 365 environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Preferred: Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator or Enterprise Administrator Expert, and experience with third-party IAM tools like Okta or Ping Identity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
  

Compensation for the Infrastructure Architect includes:

• Salary: $170,000 - $200,000, depending on experience.
