Responsibilities for the Principal Linux Engineer include:
- Design, deploy, integrate, and maintain Linux environments, support infrastructure and assist with the migration
- Integrate RHEL and Ubuntu systems, configure new systems, ensure patches are maintained, and ensure compliance and requirements are met
- Develop an operating system for the team and a plan to ensure all systems run smoothly
- Certify log management into a single repository, respond to various client needs, and act as senior lead and escalation point
- 15 years of experience focused on Systems Engineering
- Experience with Linux, RHEL, and Ubuntu
- Sec Certification
- Bachelor's Degree
- Top Secret Clearance
- Salary Range: $150,000-200,000 **depending on experience**
