Process Engineer Consultant

Piper Companies is seeking a Process Engineer Consultant for an on-site contract position located in Clayton, North Carolina (NC). As a Process Engineer Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in optimizing and refining manufacturing and operational processes in a regulated life sciences environment. Responsibilities of the Process Engineer Consultant:

• Oversee area content, provide process knowledge, conduct reviews, validations, and reporting.
• Promote continuous improvement, productivity, and cost reduction through technical knowledge and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
• Facilitate technical oversight, including deviation assessment, root cause analysis, and process improvements.
• Act as the technical expert for auditors/inspectors and collaborate with other departments/sites to share best practices.
• Implement new technologies and ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
  
  

Qualifications for the Process Engineer Consultant:

• 3 years of BIOTECH experience
• B.S. in electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering, or related discipline
  
  

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $40-$50/hr
