Piper Life Sciences is actively seeking a Process Engineer II for a Denmark based pharmaceutical organization that produces products for the needs of patients with unmet chronic diseases. The Process Engineer II will get to join a global network of manufacturing professionals to improve system & equipment reliability. This is a Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 5:00 position located in the greater Raleigh, NC area.

Responsibilities of the Process Engineer II:
- Improve system and equipment reliability to meet business and regulatory requirements
- Lead cross functional process improvements
- Support technical development of Process Maintenance Techs and Area Specialists
- Participate in process improvement projects, remain hands on with engineering tools that define that new processes, and carry these out for long-term
- Improve the performance of an existing process or set of systems using root cause analysis and green belt tools
- Develop and manage project budgets for improvements of processes and systems
- Participate in event response activities
- B.S. and 5 - 8 years of industry engineering experience
- Experience in Instrumentation and Electrical, Mechanical, Control/SCADA/PLCs, Root Cause, Process Improvement Methodologies, and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)
- Experience in Maintenance, Design, Process Improvement, and Six Sigma methodologies
- Salary: $90,000-$130,000
