Piper Health and Sciences is seeking a QC Microbiology Analyst II to support a biotech organization specializing in the development of gene therapy drug products. The QC Microbiology Analyst II will perform environmental monitoring and microbiological testing of raw materials out of the Rockville, MD area.

Responsibilities for the QC Microbiology Analyst II:
- Perform environmental testing of cleanrooms and aseptic isolators in a GMP setting as well as perform routine sampling and testing of utilities (water and compressed gasses)
- Conduct bioburden/endotoxin testing on raw materials and buffers/reagents
- Write and revise SOPs (standard operating procedures) and assist in revising work instructions
- Create and pull reports on environmental monitoring data
- 1 years of industry GMP experience working in microbiology performing environmental monitoring, bioburden, and endotoxin testing
- Experience performing EM (environmental monitoring) activities of cleanrooms (A, B, C, D)
- Bioburden and endotoxin testing experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in life science related field (biology, microbiology, immunology, etc.)
- Salary: Between $30.00/hr - $40.00 hourly based on years of relevant experience
