Piper Health and Sciences is seeking a QC Microbiology Associate to support a biotech organization specializing in the Elkridge, MD area to support a well-established biotech organization specializing in immunotherapy products. The QC Microbiology Associate will perform environmental monitoring and microbiological testing of raw materials.
Responsibilities for the QC Microbiology Associate :
- Perform environmental testing of cleanrooms and aseptic isolators in a GMP setting as well as perform routine sampling and testing of utilities (water and compressed gasses)
- Conduct bioburden / endotoxin testing on raw materials and buffers / reagents
- Write and revise SOPs (standard operating procedures) and assist in revising work instructions
- Create and pull reports on environmental monitoring data
