Piper Companies is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer with strong experience with web and API testing. The ideal Quality Assurance Engineer will be hybrid 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in Durham, NC .
Requirements for the Quality Assurance Engineer include :
- Execute detailed testing of web applications to uncover bugs, usability issues, and other defects.
- Design and run test cases and scripts to confirm the functionality, performance and security of web based applications
- Conduct API testing with tools like Postman
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to grasp requirements and effectively relay testing results
- Identify and supply necessary test data, document and report defects, monitor issues to resolution, and swiftly verify fixes
- Participate in Agile development activities, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
