What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Biochemist position at Piper Companies?
Piper Companies is currently looking for an experienced Quality Control Biochemist in West Point, Pennsylvania (PA) to work for a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer.
Responsibilities for the Quality Control Biochemist include :
- Utilize skills with HPLC (Empower), SDS-Page, Elisa, Gel Electrophoresis, and UV-VIS to assist in the production and development of vaccines
- Assist with endotoxin testing within the lab
- Support process Improvement projects such as standardization of test methods and the execution of test methods as well as assay validation / qualification
- Perform OOS / Deviation investigations and carry our experiments in support of these investigations
- Ensure compliance with regulations, guidelines and procedures
