Responsibilities of Senior Network Specialist:
- Manages the purchase, testing, installation, and support of network communications, including LAN/MAN/WAN systems.
- Supervises operations such as network operations, system security, systems software support, and production support
- Identify and diagnose complex problems by utilizing software and hardware tools as well as troubleshoot network systems when necessary
- Support and monitor information systems operations activities including computer and telecommunications/communications operations, data entry, data control, etc.
- 4 years of relevant technical experience including network design and implementation, advanced troubleshooting, network maintenance, etc.
- Proficiency in routing protocols, network design, and troubleshooting
- Strong system-level design and configuration skills such as determining hardware, operating systems, and platform specifications
- BA/S in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field is preferred
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance
- Salary Range: $100,000-$120,000
