Sr. Calibration Technician

Piper Health & Sciences is seeking a Senior Calibration Technician to join a leading pharmaceutical organization in the Silver Spring, MD area.

Responsibilities for the Sr. Calibration Technician include:

• Complete calibrations, qualifications, and preventive maintenance (PMs) with accurate and timely GxP documentation, following company or client-specific policies and procedures.
• Handle and maintain company and client equipment, including testing and standards equipment.
• Troubleshoot and perform equipment repairs, focusing on scheduled calibrations and maintenance events.
• Proactively assess project safety concerns and ensure compliance with all site safety requirements.
  
  

Qualifications for the Sr. Calibration Technician include:

• 2 years of calibration experience in a GMP/cGMP/GxP environment is required.
• Experience with laboratory equipment, utilities, and manufacturing equipment is preferred.
• Understanding of GMP/cGMP regulations and protocols as it relates to calibrations & metrology.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent Technical training is required.
  
  

Compensation for the Sr. Calibration Technician includes:

• Salary Range: approximately $26.00 - $48.00 hourly, commensurate with experience
