Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Sr. Linux System Engineer who will support a government contract located in Arlington, VA.

- Enterprise Authorization: Integrate Linux Systems (currently, RHEL 7/8 and Ubuntu systems) into a primary Windows environment (workstations & servers) where authentication, authorization, and accounting actives are controlled by Active Directory with PKI certificates and Single Sign On.
- Enterprise Provisioning: Configure new Linux systems for customer use and ensuring that initial configurations meet required enterprise baselines & controls (e.g., proper agents installed, proper configs, etc.)
- Integrate Linux systems with other enterprise tooling (e.g., ACAS, Splunk, SolarWinds, Backup systems, etc.)
- Ensure patches are maintained across a diverse Linux environment (e.g., Ubuntu, RHEL7/8, etc.) in a heavily automated manner, where possible.
- Ensure that already-provisioned Linux systems are kept in compliance with baseline requirements & ever-changing enterprise policy (e.g., equivalent to Group Policy in the Windows realm for ongoing compliance updates).
- Develop an operating system lifecycle plan with integration of DoD STIGs and other recommended security standards.
- Monitor all solutions integrated via a centralized alerting system.
- Certify log management and forwarding to a single repository.
- Clearance: TS/SCI
- 10 years of technical and related expirence
- Security Plus certification
- Expirence with Encryption and Key Management security Discipline
- Expirence with Linux servers
- $155,000 – $220,000 *Depending on Experience.
