Systems Administrator (Security)- TS/SCI required- College Park, MD

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a System Administrator to join a Government Consulting company located in the DMV area (can sit in DC- JBAB, Reston VA, or College Park MD ) through hybrid work. The System Administrator will conduct systems administration of cyber tool sets and server systems connected to networks across multiple classification domains.

Responsibilities of the System Administrator :

• Collaborate to develop innovative solutions for secure and reliable operations of enterprise computer systems.
• Work individually or in a small integrated team, and may also lead a task, project, or team.
• Ensure project completion and provide guidance and direction to lower-level technicians, specialists, and managers.
• Develop new concepts and processes and analyze root causes to resolve complex issues.
• Perform day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client, server, storage, and network devices.
• Configure and manage Windows, UNIX, and Linux systems, and install and load operating system and application software, including Host-based Security System, Endpoint Security Suite (ESS), Splunk, Cribl, and network security tools, including Firewalls and ForeScout.
• Support Windows and Linux systems engineering efforts in system design and evaluation, solution engineering, software development, or system administration.
