Job: Fire alarm installer
Location: Longmont, CO
Type: Full time permanent employment
Pay: up to $30 an hour DOE
What you will do:
This skilled position involves installing, troubleshooting, configuring, commissioning, and servicing Fire Alarm Systems at our commercial customer’s sites including panel repair/reprogramming, device replacement/repair, resolving low voltage circuit troubles and system testing.
- Organize and effectively utilize technical resources, information, material, and support to ensure the efficient execution of all assigned tasks.
- The position involves the Installation and programming of fire alarms, security, and access control system panels, but will primarily focus on networked fire alarm systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install, program, and maintain alarm systems in commercial and governmental buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout and installation of alarm systems.
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on Fire Alarm Systems.
- Provide technical support to customers regarding alarm system operation and maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of alarm system installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
- Experience in fire alarm systems is required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers.
- Valid Drivers License in good standing.
- Ability to pass background check and Drug Screen.
