Piper Maddox has been engaged by a small but rapidly growing developer in the Renewable Natural Gas space.
Seeking an Environment Health & Safety Specialist to plan, direct, and implement the company's environmental health and safety programs and to ensure a positive, safe, healthy, and incident-free work environment.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Maintain and continuously improve upon the company's Environmental, Health, and Safety Management System.
- Coordinate and maintain environmental protection and safety activities to verify compliance with all State, Local and Federal Environmental and Safety Regulatory requirements.
- Support operations teams and provide guidance and interpretation of all environmental and safety regulatory requirements as they relate to the production activities.
- Complete required EHS reporting
- Representing the company with regulatory agencies such as OSHA, SCDES, EPA, etc.
- Manage EHS training implementation and records.
