Role: Lead Application Engineer

Salary: $140K-$175K 15% bonus
We're partnered with a market leader in the charging infrastructure space who have had immense success in the US and are growing rapidly!
As part of this next phase of their growth, they're adding a Lead Application Engineer to their team who will manage the Application Engineering team and be customer facing, whilst oversee the deployment of their EV Charging solutions.
* This role is fully onsite in North Carolina.
*Visa sponsorships/transfers can be provided for this role
Key Responsibilities 🔨:
- Lead and manage a team of Application Engineers
- Oversee technical EV Charging project support
- Build relationships with customers to ensure the successful deployment of their EV Charging solutions
- Ensure OCPP standards are met
- Work cross functionally with a range of internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience 📑:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 8 years experience in a technical sales role
- Minimum 2 years experience in a technical leadership position
- 4 years min professional experience in the EV Charging space
- Strong knowledge of protocols & technical standards of OCPP
- Strong communication and relationship building skills to work in a customer facing role
Nice to have ⭐:
- Experience in a customer facing role
- Electrical engineering experience in the solar space
