We are currently looking for Vice President to join our growing Financial Sponsors General Partner (GP) Advisory team based in Burlingame, CA.
The GP Advisory team is led by the former Global Head of Financial Sponsors at Morgan Stanley and co-founder of DBO Partners, acquired by Piper Sandler in 2022. The team has strong relationships with leading financial sponsors and routinely advises them on a variety of strategic initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, minority stake sales, GP financing and liquidity solutions, and restructuring.
The Associate can expect to work closely with Founding Partners, Managing Partners, and other senior executives at sponsor clients, and will work closely with the Private Capital Advisory and Financial Sponsors teams, which have relationships with 750 private equity firms in North America and Europe as well as 5,000 Limited Partners across the globe.

The anticipated starting salary for individuals expressing interest in this position is $250,000 per year.Placement within this range is dependent upon level of experience, location and other factors.This position is eligible for annual incentive compensation which will be a part of the total compensation. Total compensation for this position will be competitive with the market.

- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of investment banking experience; MBA degree and 3 years of investment banking or closely related experience
- Meaningful M&A transaction experience, particularly on the sell-side M&A
- Ability to lead junior bankers throughout a transaction; includes reviewing work, setting expectations and providing constructive feedback
- Business writing skills, including the ability to write compelling selling memorandums and presentations
- Analytical and financial modeling skills
- Client management skills
- Ability to build relationships and establish trust with internal and external stakeholders
- Exceptional work ethic and a high level of enthusiasm, initiative and leadership potential
