OBJECTIVE :
To assist in Mill Operations, ensuring the mill run efficiently.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (other duties as assigned)
- Execute repair and maintenance of feed mill equipment
- Assist in planning upgrades and PM shutdowns
- Accurately complete all paperwork
- Identify equipment throughout the mill
- Monitor proper grain storage and condition assuring quality of product
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Education : High School Diploma
Experience :
Feed or grain handling, computer automation, and / or manufacturing experience.
Work Environment :
Agricultural swine environment in rural area
Noise levels that may require hearing protection in some areas
Physical Requirements :
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs with assistance from another person as needed
Standing, walking and ability to be on feet 8 – 10 hours per day
Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, pulling and kneeling
Additional Requirements :
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to work
Class A CDL preferred
Compensation, Pay & Benefits :
Compensation rate of $20-$28 hour, depending on experience
