Swine Market Selection Technician

Job Summary

As a Market Hog Loader, you will be responsible for marking loads of hogs in accordance with supervisor directions. The successful candidate will mark 20-25 loads per week across the Northwest Iowa and Southwest Minnesota region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify market-ready pigs and implement effective marketing strategies
• Analyze data to make informed decisions and maximize marketing opportunities
• Contribute to the development, implementation, and execution of marketing plans to optimize revenue
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and coordinate tasks to achieve goals
• Work collaboratively as part of a positive team atmosphere

Requirements:

• High school diploma; Associate's degree preferred
• Market hog experience is an asset
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per day and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and lifting
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
