Join Pipeworks Studios and make your mark on the gaming industry as an Environment Artist on an exciting AAA project. The Environment Artist will work closely with the Project Art Director and Senior Environment Artist(s) support various projects on their environment design, modeling, and texturing needs with styles ranging from cartoony to realistic.
Day To Day
Responsibilities
- Create environments for individual projects, as needed
- Work with the Project Art Director or Art Lead to understand project requirements, then research, develop, and implement it in engine
- Work within an environment POD creating AAA level content
- Research current techniques used and utilize most relevant processes
- Work with Design to determine level flow and how it will pertain to environments
- Work closely with Technical Art to develop new or improved upon techniques to improve visual quality
- Work with other departments as needed
- Work independently and provide accurate time estimations for project planning
