Based in the vibrant tech hub of Eugene, Oregon, with the flexibility of full remote work, this role is your chance to take UI from concept to implementation for a global audience. The ideal candidate for the Technical Game Designer I is an experienced professional with a design and / or engineering background focused on gameplay development. The Technical Game Designer I contributes to the project offering consultation / review as a direct contributor. This includes collaborating with stakeholders and clients across disciplines and projects.
Day To Day
Responsibilities
- Actively participate as a project contributor, collaboratively creating, communicating, and managing tasks independently
- Design, implement, and maintain technical systems and tools to support game design
- Provide detailed and iterative design documentation to support the development lifecycle
- Collaborate with engineers and other technical staff to ensure the successful implementation of game mechanics and features
- Communicate with external stakeholders, including clients, per project requirements
- Occasional travel, per project requirements
