POSITION OVERVIEW: As a Front Desk agent specializing in reservations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless experience for our membership. You would be responsible for managing all aspects of the reservation process, from initial inquiries to confirming reservations. You will serve as the first point of contact for individuals seeking accommodation or services, both over the phone and in person. Your duties will encompass various administrative tasks related to reservations, including entry into the point-of sale system, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with other departments to meet members' needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Receive and manage incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits.
· Greet members and guests and direct them properly to their destination.
· Provide detailed information about the various events to the membership.
· Process reservations accurately and efficiently using the NorthStar reservation system.
· Confirm bookings and notify the proper department.
· Maintain organized reservation records, including member information, special requests, and payment details.
· Handle reservation cancellations and modifications promptly and professionally.
· Address guest concerns or complaints related to reservations courteously and effectively.
· Stay updated on available events to update membership on events towards their liking.
· Assist with check-in and check-out procedures as needed, providing excellent customer service at all times.
· Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity when handling guests' personal information and payment details.
· Maintain a neat and organized reception area, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.
· Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, security, and member satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or front desk operations is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.50 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 42 per week
