What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Control- Hilo Driver 2nd Shift position at Piping Rock?
Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead Person, the Inventory Control Associate II is responsible for ensuring that inventory is properly accounted for with the distribution area. This position is responsible for adhering to the safety guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect.
Responsibilities:
Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area
Unloads and stacks material by using lifting device
Inventories materials on work floor and in warehouse
Loads or unloads materials onto/off pallets or lifting device
Resolution of lost pallets and tracking the history
Retagging and/or archiving pallet tickets
Conducting daily/weekly cycle counts to a regimented schedule
Perform physical inventory controls
Create daily pallet reports and exception reports
Conduct investigations of inventory loss when necessary
Trace inventory for recall when necessary
Qualifications:
2 years inventory counting experience in a warehouse environment
Must be able to lift 30lbs
Must be able to stand for 8 hours
MHE certification (cherry picker, hi lo, rider jack) experience required
WMS experience preferred
Flexibility for overtime when needed
Must be able to read/write English
Ability to work autonomously and use resources available to complete tasks timely
Must be comfortable with working with heights
Some Excel and Outlook experience required
Must be an accurate counter
Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job training
Other duties as assigned
