Job Description
As an Orthodontist at Pippin Dental & Braces, you will be responsible for providing orthodontic services to patients with the support of your team.
Our office features state-of-the-art equipment, including DentaPro software, digital x-ray and Panorex units, and fiber-optic handpieces.
The patient base primarily consists of children and adults, with approximately 30% adult population depending on location.
The office flow averages 10-12 operative patients and 20-25 hygiene patients.
We have a ratio of 1 hygienist, 1 hygiene assistant, and 2 dental assistants per provider.
The patient population has a mix of state insurance plans, PPO, and out-of-network payors.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A DDS/DMD degree from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation is mandatory.
- A Certificate of completion of a residency from an accredited post-graduate Orthodontic Program is also required.
- A current, valid license to practice dentistry in states where providing care or eligible for licensure is essential.
- Nitrous Oxide certification (for specific locations) and other certifications as required are also needed.
