The purpose of this role is to operate in a safe, yet an extremely high paced, fluid environment. The role's responsibility is to safely optimize people and technology while ensuring quality and have daily oversight of operations of the warehouse employees and ensure compliance with all of PPSs policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Identifies and implements productivity opportunities in operations, logistics and warehouse
- Ability to represent and present effectively for internal and external audits.
- Oversee 3PL tactical assignments to ensure inventory accuracy and outbound transportation
- Issues cycle counts and establishes controls and processes
- Ensure training is provided to support growth and compliance needs.
- Monitors performance metrics of the warehouse in terms of inventory accuracy, budgets, productivity, shipment accuracy, and delivery performance
- Identifies root cause, corrective actions, and implements long-term solutions
- Leads, coaches, develops and trains employees to meet/exceed business goals & objectives
- Ensure requests are completed in a timely manner to support manufacturing / packaging
- Enforces compliance with GMP & SOP requirements as required and provide evidence for action to ensure the warehouses are always audit ready
- Accountable for a safe working environment, ensures a culture of safety.
- Ensures safety standards, procedures and processes are followed by the warehouse staff. Ensure GMP, Safety and Good Housekeeping Practices.
- Receiving Responsibilities
- Ensuring that GMP Receipts, Non GMP Receipts, Receiving/Transfer Returns, Bin-to-Bin (Floor to Storage) are completed
- Meet GMP requirements for turnaround time of receipt per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Alignment and resolution of receiving issues highlight vendor issues to procurement for resolution
- Shipping Responsibilities
- Domestic and International Shipments, Scrapping of Material, Return to Vendor
- Meet all documentation requirements for Shipping, Export Control
- Responsible for record-keeping of day-to-day operations

Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required, Associate degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ experience or combination of education and relevant experience
- Intermediate computer skills; working knowledge of SAP, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook,
- IATA/IMDG Hazmat certification
- DOT safety certification
- Ability to obtain DOT Health Card
- Current forklift certification
Reporting to this position: 3 to 6
General Oversight and Direction:
Receives moderate to limited supervision working from objectives set by Manager. Employee organizes and carries out most assignments in accordance with standard practices, instructions or previous training. Employee handles some situations independently.
