About the role
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for coordinating event venue rentals and reservations for parties from 10 to 2000 guests and managing all of the final details and payments for events. This includes but is not limited to corporate parties, birthdays, anniversary parties, banquets, business meetings, and social events.
What you'll do

- Take inbound leads as assigned and convert to sales via phone, text and email
- Develop a book of business and relationships outside inbound leads with local DMCs and planners to further increase business.
- Follow up to ensure all expectations are meet within timeframes set by management
- Participate in a weekly sales team meeting reviewing quarterly targets and tracking performance metrics of the department
- Participate in a weekly meeting to transfer the necessary information for all events to the appropriate operations teams
- After initial intake calls, determine best sales lead to appropriately manage leads
- Ensure the accuracy of all proposals submitted to clients
- Maintain professional correspondence with Event clients, answering questions during the planning process and coordinating necessary contact between vendors
- Schedule and lead in-person tours for and with the team for venue sales on a pre-determined schedule as a part of the sales team.
- Assisting with AP and any AR needs related to venues sales
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- Experience with Tripleseat or other sales CRM platforms preferred
- Experience working in the hospitality industry preferred
- Experience with inbound or outbound sales
- Proficient spoken and written English
- Ability to work on a team or individually
- Ability to work with minimal supervision

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
