Pirate Water Taxi is a fleet of pirate-themed water taxi vessels in Downtown Tampa that is owned and operated by Yacht StarShip Dining Cruises. Yacht StarShip Dining Cruises & Events operates Florida's largest and premier fleet of dining and wedding yachts out of Tampa Channelside and Clearwater Marina. Yacht StarShip also owns and operates the Lost Pearl pirate ship, the Bay Rocket jet boat and Tampa Riverwalk Rentals with bicycles, stand up paddle boards and kayaks. As well as Craft, a European style dining 121-foot vessel.

The water taxis operate 7 days a week, with longer hours on the weekends and during special events. Daily admission allows for unlimited hop on - hop off boarding all day from any of our 14 stops which are conveniently located along the Hillsborough River and Tampa’s waterways. Passengers can visit establishments at each stop including Amalie Arena, Florida Aquarium, American Victory Ship, Tampa Convention Center, Tampa Riverwalk, Sparkman Wharf, Harbor Island, Davis Island and more.
The taxis are also available for private charter opportunities for groups, festivals, weddings, celebrations, birthday parties and much more. We are open 7 days a week including days, evenings, weekends and special holiday events.
Job Description
We are currently hiring individuals for ticket sales. This position’s main role is to increase individual ticket sales for Pirate Water Taxi and its related companies by interacting with potential customers in person along the route. Work will be performed at varying locations at any of our 14 docks as needed. Position pays hourly plus Our preferred candidate will have at least 1 year of current experience in customer service or sales and an interest in the hospitality/maritime industry. Position pays hourly plus unlimited commissions paid every other week.
Responsibilities
- Ticket sales for all companies
- Distribution of boarding passes
- Distribution of passenger wristbands
- Replenishing brochure racks
- Coordinating operations with on-board managers, captains, marine crew and other staff

Requirements
- Must have open availability to work a variety of shifts that will include days, evenings, weekends and special holiday events.
- Must be comfortable working in an outdoor environment while standing for several hours at a time.
- This position requires someone that can work both in a team and independent setting.
- Candidate will have at least 1 year of current experience in customer service or sales and an interest in the hospitality/maritime industry.
