What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Maintenance/Grounds Crew Members position at Pirateland Family Camping Resort?
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Perform assigned general maintenance duties required to maintain and repair buildings, structures, machinery and equipment, involving some skill in carpentry, plumbing, painting and/or the electrical or mechanical trades.
Repair and maintain buildings, structures, equipment, utilities, etc
Respond to and assist guests with issues and maintenance questions
General labor such as loading and delivering materials, pressure washing, site prep/clean -up, etc.
Assist in setting up for events and cleaning up after
Keep areas free of debris and trash, and assist in trash pick-up
Mow sites and common areas, prune bushes and trees, edge areas, etc.

Collaborate with housekeeping to ensure facilities are properly cared for
Desired qualifications include:
Experience in general maintenance
Ability to operate various equipment and tools
Ability to work outside in various weather conditions including heat
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to start work as early as 7:00am and work weekends and holidays
Valid driver's license
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
